Pada umumnya:

1. to be (is, are) diulang dalam ekornya
2. auxiliary/kata kerja bantu (will, have, may) diulang dalam ekornya.
3. verb (kata kerja), ekornya do/does
4. verb (kata kerja) lampau, ekornya did

Kecuali:  am, ekornya aren’t
